Frequently Asked Questions
We've put together answers to some of the questions we hear most often about the AZ Crush MS Wine Tasting Fundraiser. If you don't see the answer you're looking for, please contact us—we're happy to help!
Who can attend the Wine Tasting?
Anyone 21 or older is welcome!
You don't need to be a wine expert, a member of the MS community, or even someone who drinks wine regularly. It's a fun, relaxed afternoon for friends, family, wine lovers, and anyone who wants to support a great cause.
And while it is a fundraiser, we want it to feel like a great afternoon out—not like you're sitting through a fundraising event.
Who qualifies for the $3 tickets?
We want the event to be accessible to the MS community because MS affects more than the person diagnosed—it affects the entire household.
Anyone living in the same household as a person with MS can purchase a ticket for just $3, provided they are 21 or older on the date of the event.
Do I have to be a wine connoisseur?
Absolutely not! Come to discover something new, enjoy some good wine, and have fun. Winery representatives will be there to share their wines and answer questions. Whether you know a lot about wine or simply know what you like, you'll fit right in.
Can people using wheelchairs, walkers, or motorized mobility devices attend comfortably?
Yes. Accessibility is important to us.
The event space is barrier-free, and the route from the parking area to the event space is designed to accommodate guests with mobility challenges.
The tables inside the venue are spaced to provide room for powered mobility devices, and the facility layout is designed with accessibility in mind.
If you have a specific accessibility need or concern, please contact us before the event. We want to make sure you have a comfortable and enjoyable afternoon.
What does my ticket include?
Your admission includes access to the wine tasting, the event activities, and the food buffet.
We'll provide more details about the 2027 ticket prices and experience as the event gets closer.
Will food be served?
Yes! A buffet of light snacks will be available throughout the event and is included with your admission. The food is selected to complement the wine tasting.
There will not be additional food available for purchase at the event.
Can I buy wine from the wineries?
Yes! The participating wineries will bring wine for the tasting as well as bottles available for purchase. If you discover a new favorite, you can take some home with you.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes. However, tickets purchased in advance will offer the best pricing, especially during our Early Bird promotion. We recommend purchasing your tickets ahead of time rather than waiting until the day of the event.
Can I give my ticket to someone else?
Yes. Tickets may be used by another person as long as the person attending is 21 or older on the date of the event.
What forms of payment will be accepted?
We accept cash, credit cards, and tap-to-pay payments from a digital wallet for purchases such as silent auction and raffle entries.
What is the Wine Pull?
The Wine Pull is one of the most popular parts of the event!
You'll have the opportunity to purchase a Wine Pull ticket for $30 and select a bottle from the wine pull table. The least expensive bottle is valued at $30, so you can’t lose. However, there will be some more expensive bottles donated, so you may be a big winner.
What is the 50/50 raffle?
It's simple: purchase a ticket and take your chance at winning half of the money collected during the event. The winner gets half, and the other half goes directly toward supporting the AZ Crush MS mission. Last year, the winner won over $600.
You could go home with a great prize while helping someone living with MS.
What happens to the money raised at the event?
Funds raised by AZ Crush MS support MS research as well as our Relief Fund, which provides direct financial assistance to people living with MS who need help.
Previous grants have helped with expenses such as rent, vision care, dental care, and other needs that can have a meaningful impact on their quality of life.
So when you buy a ticket, bid in the silent auction, participate in the Wine Pull, or enter the 50/50 raffle, you're not just having fun—you're helping someone in the MS community.
Do I need to be connected to someone with MS to attend?
Not at all! Everyone 21 and older is welcome. Bring your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, or anyone else who enjoys wine, likes to enjoy a relaxed afternoon, and wants to support a great cause.
Is the event indoors or outdoors?
The main event takes place inside the Creighton University Health Sciences Ballroom, with access to the outdoor terrace as well.
The wineries will be located indoors near the check-in area, making it easy to visit them throughout the event.
Where is the event?
The 2027 Wine Tasting Fundraiser will be held at:
Creighton University Health Sciences Ballroom & Terrace
3100 N. Central Avenue
Phoenix, AZ 85012
The event runs from 3:00–6:00 PM on Saturday, April 3, 2027.
Can I attend if I don't drink alcohol?
Yes, but everyone attending must be 21 or older because alcohol is being served.
You can enjoy the food, speaker, auction, raffle, atmosphere, and company without drinking wine.
Can I attend if I have dietary restrictions?
We'll provide more information about the 2027 food offerings and dietary options as we get closer to the event. If you have a specific dietary concern, please contact us before the event so we can do our best to accommodate you.
What should I wear?
Come comfortable and ready to have fun!
The event is social and relaxed, so there is no need to dress formally. We'll provide more information about the suggested attire as the event approaches.
Can I sponsor the event instead of—or in addition to—buying tickets?
Absolutely! Businesses and organizations can support AZ Crush MS through one of our 2027 sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorships provide valuable exposure for your company while helping us raise more money to support people living with MS.
